1. BehindCandle is only a tool
BehindCandle is charting and analytics software. It shows market data and calculations based on that data. It never tells you to buy, sell or hold anything, or when to enter or exit a trade. It does not trade for you and does not manage money or digital assets. Every decision you make, and its result, is yours alone.
2. Not investment advice
Nothing on the website, in the chart or in our emails is financial, investment, trading, legal or tax advice, a recommendation, a tip or a signal.
BehindCandle is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or with any other financial regulator in any country as an investment adviser, research analyst, broker or portfolio manager. Before making a financial decision, consider your own situation and, if needed, speak to a qualified and registered professional.
3. No guaranteed results
We do not promise any profit, return, success rate or protection against loss. Screenshots, examples and past data are for illustration only and do not predict future results.
4. What the words on the chart mean
The chart uses short labels to describe data. They are descriptions, never instructions.
- "SELL wall" and "BUY wall" mean a large group of sell or buy orders that other market participants have placed in the order book at that price. They do not mean that you should sell or buy.
- "Wall FILLED" means that, according to the data we received, such orders appear to have been traded during that candle. The figures are estimates.
- "NEW", "HOLDING", "FILLED" and "CANCELLED" in the wall tracker describe what happened to an order wall in the data. Walls can be cancelled at any moment.
- "Bullish" and "Bearish" in the EMA widget only say whether one moving average is above or below the other. "Bullish candles" and "Bearish candles" only count candles that closed up or down.
- "Buyers dominant", "Sellers dominant" and "Both sides balanced" only say which side of a calculation is larger at that moment.
- "Long buildup", "Short buildup", "Long unwinding" and "Short covering", and short notes beside them such as "buyers are exiting" or "(weak)", are standard names for combinations of price change and open interest change. They do not say what will happen next.
- "BOS" and other structure markers, and pattern labels shown with a question mark such as "Bottom pattern?", are automatic calculations from past candles. They can be wrong.
- "Support", "resistance", "Max Pain" and the put/call ratio in the options widget are levels calculated from options data. They are not forecasts.
- Stop-loss and liquidation levels, liquidation figures, the liquidity map, the DOM, order book depth and indicator lines are calculations from past and current data. They are not predictions.
- "High" and "Medium" in the economic calendar are general impact ratings for an event, not a forecast of how the market will move.
- In the long and short position tool, "Long", "Short", entry, stop, target and risk-to-reward are the values you placed yourself. They are not suggestions from us.
5. The data is not exact
Order book data changes many times every second. A wall shown on the chart may disappear without ever being traded. Market data comes from third-party sources that we do not own or control. As a result:
- data can be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or missing, and a source can stop without notice;
- combined totals, wall sizes, fills and estimates are approximations and may differ from what a single trading venue shows;
- some history is recorded in your own browser, so it can be incomplete or differ between devices;
- the same symbol can show different values at different times or after a reload.
Symbols such as gold, silver and oil are perpetual contracts quoted in USDT on crypto trading venues. Their prices can differ from spot or exchange prices for the same commodity.
We do not guarantee that any data, label or figure is accurate, complete or up to date. Always check prices with your own broker or trading venue before you act.
6. Alerts may not arrive
Alerts are checked in your browser and work only while the chart tab is open. They can be late or may not arrive at all. Do not rely on them as your only way to watch the market.
7. Trading risk
Trading cryptocurrencies, futures, perpetual contracts, options and other leveraged products carries a high risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Prices can move very fast, and you can lose all the money you put in, or more. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
8. Law and taxes
Rules and taxes for crypto assets and derivatives differ between countries and can change. Trading some of these products may be restricted or prohibited where you live. You are responsible for following the laws and tax rules that apply to you.
9. No affiliation
BehindCandle is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any exchange, broker or data provider. Names of assets and symbols are used only to identify the market data shown.
10. No responsibility for losses
To the fullest extent the law allows, BehindCandle is not responsible for any loss, including trading losses and missed opportunities, that results from using or relying on the website, the chart, its data, its labels or its tools. See the Terms of use for details.
