BehindCandle Open chart

See the orders behind every candle.

BehindCandle puts the live order book on your chart. The big resting walls, the ones that got filled, where liquidity sits and how open interest moves, together on one screen that runs in your browser.

10 candle types you will not find on other charts

Normal candles show where the price went. These show what happened inside the candle: which side pushed harder, how much traded, whether new positions opened, which walls were filled and who got liquidated. Pick one from the chart type menu and the whole chart changes, and add the volume and delta numbers on top of any of them.

Delta candles

The colour shows which side pushed harder inside the candle.

How to read it

Green = more up-side pressure, red = more down-side pressure. The brighter the candle, the bigger the difference.

What it helps with

Notice a green candle that had heavy down-side pressure inside it, or a quiet candle with strong up-side pressure.

up-side strongerdown-side strongerbrighter = bigger

Volume candles

Bright candles traded much more than usual, faint ones traded little.

How to read it

Brightness compares each candle's volume with the last 20 candles.

What it helps with

See at a glance which moves had real volume behind them and which were thin.

bright = heavy volumefaint = little volume

Split volume candles

Every candle body is split into its up-side volume and its down-side volume.

How to read it

The green part is up-side volume, the red part is down-side volume.

What it helps with

See the balance inside every candle without opening a footprint chart.

up-side volumedown-side volume

OI candles

Bright when open interest went up in the candle, faint when it went down.

How to read it

Bright = new positions opened. Faint = positions closed.

What it helps with

Tell a move driven by new money apart from one driven by traders closing out.

bright = OI up (new positions)faint = OI down

Wall candles

Marks the candles in which a big order wall was filled.

How to read it

Blue = a bid wall (below the price) was filled, amber = an ask wall (above the price) was filled.

What it helps with

Find the candles where large resting orders actually traded.

bid wall filledask wall filled

Liquidation candles

Marks the candles with forced closes.

How to read it

Light blue = shorts liquidated, pink = longs liquidated.

What it helps with

See where a move was pushed by liquidations instead of fresh orders.

shorts liquidatedlongs liquidated

Absorption candles

Amber when a candle had far more volume than usual but barely moved.

How to read it

Big volume plus a small range means the orders met heavy resistance on the other side.

What it helps with

Notice levels where heavy orders were absorbed and the price could not get through.

big volume, small candle

Trend candles

Green while the trend is up, red while it is down, grey when it pauses.

How to read it

The colour changes only after a clear close, so small wiggles do not flip it.

What it helps with

See the trend and the moments it pauses at a glance.

trend uppausetrend down

Momentum candles

RSI 14 as a colour, right on the candles.

How to read it

Bright red = RSI 70 or more, bright green = RSI 30 or less, faint in between.

What it helps with

See stretched moves without a separate RSI panel.

RSI 70+RSI 30 or lessfaint = in between

Inside / outside candles

Blue for an inside bar, amber for an outside bar.

How to read it

Inside bar = within the previous candle. Outside bar = covers the previous candle.

What it helps with

Spot quiet build-ups and the candles that move out of them.

inside baroutside bar

Volume and delta on every candle

Two small numbers above each candle: how much traded, and the difference between the up-side and the down-side.

How to read it

Vol = total volume of the candle. Δ = delta: green with + when the up-side was bigger, red with - when the down-side was bigger. Zoom in to read them.

What it helps with

Read the numbers behind every candle right on the chart. Works with any candle type. Turn it on from Indicators, then Volume.

Drawings are examples, not live market data. Candle colours describe what happened inside a candle; they are not signals.

Smart money patterns, marked for you

Turn on any pattern from the Patterns button and it is drawn on the candles with a short reason, on every symbol and timeframe. New ones are added regularly.

Liquidity sweep

A wick runs past a key high or low (previous day, week, swing, equal highs or lows) and the candle closes back inside.

Order blocks

The last opposite candle before a strong move, checked for a sweep and a gap.

BOS / CHoCH

Break of structure with the trend, change of character against it, and fake breaks.

Market structure

Every swing labelled HH, HL, LH or LL, joined by a thin line.

Fair value gaps (FVG)

Three-candle gaps the price skipped, kept until they are filled.

CRT (Candle Range Theory)

The previous higher-timeframe candle as a range, with its sweeps.

Candlestick patterns

Hammer, engulfing, doji, morning star, three soldiers and more, as small badges.

Supply and demand zones

Rally-base-rally, drop-base-drop and the rest, shaded by the volume in the base.

Breakout base

The base a breakout started from, scored on five rules, with the retest.

Breakout and retest

Strong or weak breakouts and the return to the broken level.

Reversal candles

Engulfing, star and pin bar candles, boxed on the chart.

Order block retest

Price returns to an order block and prints a rejection candle there.

IFVG and breaker

A fair value gap that fails, flips and is retested.

Daily bias

Continuation, reversal or range for the day, from the last two days.

Today's pattern

Which pattern has repeated most today and how often the price moved its way so far.

Patterns and candle colours describe what the price has already done. They do not confirm or predict the next move, and nothing here is trading advice.

Bitcoin, gold and crypto analysis in one place

The tools to study a move sit on one chart, so you are not switching between websites. You make your own decisions.

Bitcoin analysis

BTC with the live order book, bid and ask walls, open interest, liquidations and delta candles. See what was behind a move, not just where the price went.

Gold analysis

Search GOLD for the gold contract with the same tools: walls, liquidity, sweeps of the previous day high and low, and order blocks.

Liquidity sweeps and stop hunts

See when the price ran the stops above a high or below a low and closed back inside, with the level it took.

Smart money concepts (SMC)

Order blocks, fair value gaps, BOS / CHoCH, market structure and CRT, drawn on the chart with a short reason for each. They show what happened, not what will happen.

Order flow and liquidity

Liquidity heatmap, DOM ladder, filled walls and absorption candles show where large orders really traded.

Ethereum, Solana, silver and oil

The same analysis for ETH, SOL and other USDT perpetuals, plus silver and crude oil. Search by name, for example USOIL.

Questions

How much does it cost?

See the pricing page. You need an active plan to open the chart, and each plan unlocks a different set of tools.

Where does the market data come from?

From third-party market data providers. BehindCandle combines and processes the data to show the order book, walls, fills and open interest on one chart.

Does it give trade signals or confirmed setups?

No. BehindCandle shows market data and analytics such as walls, fills, liquidity, open interest, patterns and candle types. None of it confirms or guarantees a move. What you do with it is your decision. Nothing on the site is investment advice.

Which symbols can I chart?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and the other USDT perpetual futures, plus gold, silver and crude oil contracts. Search by name, for example GOLD or USOIL.

Can I add my own indicators?

Indicators are built and tested by our team and added to the indicator library for everyone. If one you use is missing, suggest it from the chart or the contact page.

Can I do Bitcoin and gold analysis on BehindCandle?

Yes. Open BTC, ETH, SOL or gold (search GOLD) and you get the order book walls, liquidity, open interest, liquidity sweeps, order blocks and fair value gaps on the same chart, so the full picture of a move is in one place.

Does it show liquidity sweeps, order blocks and FVG?

Yes. The Patterns button marks liquidity sweeps, order blocks, BOS / CHoCH, market structure (HH / HL / LH / LL), fair value gaps, CRT and candlestick patterns right on the candles, with a short reason for each one. They describe what the price did; they do not confirm the next move.

What are delta candles and the other special candle types?

Candles coloured by what happened inside them: up-side against down-side pressure (delta), volume, open interest, filled order walls, liquidations, absorption, trend, momentum and inside / outside bars. Pick one from the chart type menu.

How do alerts work?

Draw a horizontal line, ray or trend line. When the price crosses it you hear a sound and get a browser notification. Alerts run while the chart tab is open.

See the orders behind every candle.
